Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota: Active Community Assessment and Engagement
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota's Active Community Assessment and Engagement Program provides funding and technical assistance to help guide three communities in Minnesota through a process that results in a clearly defined vision for active living and a plan for rallying community support to implement their vision. The overarching aims are to develop skills within communities, build long-term capacity to promote environments that encourage physical activity and ultimately improve the health of Minnesotans. These communities and regions are: Hennepin County, Dakota County and the Arrowhead Region.
