Environmental and Policy Determinants of Physical Activity in the United States
The authors of this report surveyed a cross-section of adults to gauge descriptive patterns in perceived environmental and policy determinants of physical activity and examined the associations between these factors and behaviors. Four most commonly cited reasons for inactivity were lack of time, feeling too tired, obtaining enough physical activity at one's job, and no motivation to exercise.
