Annotated Resource Guides provide a list of relevant websites, toolkits, best practices, and examples related to specific topics. These guides were developed for the Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities grantees and are available for any community interested in creating lasting healthier changes.

2008 Grantee Meeting Outdoor Learning Activities

ALbD used the incredible active living and healthy eating environment of Portland to demonstrate how community change has occurred over the last decade. Instead of cramped, dark hotel meeting rooms or lengthy powerpoint presentations, we decided to walk (and bike) the talk. The Outdoor Learning Activities were visceral opportunities to learn on our feet in the community.

2008 Annual Grantee Meeting

Active Living by Design (ALbD) held it final annual grantee meeting for the Active Living by Design grant program in Portland, Oregon from August 5th through 8th, 2008. This meeting provided a time for grantees, ALbD and RWJF staff and other invited guests to convene for a few days of learning, sharing and reflecting.
